The final film of the season on Friday 11th September is something special indeed! We bring you Michael (2026), the story of pop superstar Michael Jackson. The film charts the story of his extraordinary early days in the Jackson 5 through to becoming the visionary artist whose creative ambition fuelled a relentless pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world. We see his triumphs, tragedies and iconic performances. Michael is played in the film by his real-life nephew, Jaafar Jackson.

The future of Lenham Film Club
We’re extremely sad to have to advise that Lenham Film Club may cease to operate at the end of the current season.
The club has continued over the years as some team members have left and others have joined. However, our team now faces significant changes; our Chair and Secretary, are leaving the village and several others on our team are no longer in a position to contribute as they once did. We’ve tried to resolve this problem for some time. Despite requests for more volunteers and despite exploring a number of avenues to see if others would take on running the club, we’ve not been able to get the required assistance. A final attempt is underway to see whether the club will be able to move forward in 2027. Watch this space!
