Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Our audience vote for this season is the western classic, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969). Robert Redford, Paul Newman and Katherine Ross star in this western which sees two laid-back and lovable outlaws rob trains and banks. They try to stay one step ahead of a posse of lawmen sent to kill them by a railroad tycoon. The 1969 film paired Newman and Redford to magical effect and along with the inclusion of a love story, it remains one of the most undeniably entertaining westerns of all time.
